THE VISION
years to pay off their debt and it seems that it is never enough. If they are lodged by the owner, the rent and utilities are higher than the salary they make. It is a never-ending circle, from which Muslim owners greatly enrich themselves.
LET MY PEOPLE GO
Pastor Shakir and his local team endeavors to set these people free.A few steps are involved.
1- pay off the debt.
2- educate the children to prepare them for a job.
3- put a business in their hands and train them, so they can survive after they are free.
Pastor Shakir Masih
Pastor Shakir is a modern-day Paul. He strives to bring the harvest as fast and as effectively as possible, while caring deeply for his flock, which he disciples faithfully. He has surrounded himself with a strong team of local pastors and has trained Sunday School teachers for each location he has developed so far. Every Friday morning (US EST), I teach their youth group. We have been doing so for 2 years now. In October 2024, I went to visit them. What an amazing ministry! So much to do and so little time. Let's rally behind Pastor Shakir, Pastor Gulzar, Pastor Dildar, Sister Fahrat, and many others who have sacrificially laid down their lives to see the gospel of Jesus Christ preached in this region. The persecution of the Muslim leadership is very real there and they truly put their lives on the line.
OUR PLEAD
We need financial help with the debt pay off, the business set up and the children education (either we set up a school and send the children to an existing school). Keep in mind that the schools are all Muslims and Christian kids are persecatued there as well. We purpose to set families free and establish them with a mean to feed their families. We are looking into businesses, such as a water buffalo, a taxi bike, things like that. Training needs are great as well.

Our God is a God of multiplication. Consider this, what if we all sow $5 per month - the equivalent of one coffee per month! We have a church, a school. We can hire an additional teacher for math perhaps. We can purchase chairs, and a sound system for the church, workbooks and pencils for children, whose families can't afford this kind of supplies.
